How we compared them
For each yacht we checked: total per-trip cost (not per-person — many sites quote per-person to look cheaper), guest capacity, what’s actually included (drinks, music, AC, sundeck), and feedback from past customers. All prices below are for a standard 2-hour Mandovi cruise.
Wave Rider — Cheapest in Goa
If your group is 6 or fewer and you want the cheapest legit yacht ride in Goa, this is it. ₹9,500 for the whole boat, 2 hours, music system on board. No frills, but you’re on a private yacht for less than the cost of a couple of dinner cruise tickets.
Blue Fin — Couples special
₹11,000 for 6 guests. Better fit-out than Wave Rider, decent for date nights, anniversaries and small celebrations. Pairs well with the birthday-on-yacht decor add-on.
Manta Ray, Fun Liner, Sea Ray, Prestige 36 — The mid-tier
This is where 80% of customers end up. ₹12,500–₹14,000 for 8–14 guests, AC interior, decent sundeck, music. Pre-wedding shoots, family days out, group celebrations all happen here.
Orca, Polaris, Polaris XL — Big groups
From ₹19,000 to ₹23,000 for groups of 14–22. Larger deck space, bigger sound systems, more crew. Best for bachelorettes and corporate days where you need space to spread out.
Shantam Catamaran — Stable platform
Catamarans don’t rock the way mono-hull yachts do, so this is the pick if anyone in your group gets seasick or you want a calm setup for kids and seniors. ₹22,000 for 14–25.
Sunset 42 — Premium tier
The flagship. ₹24,500 for 14 guests gets you the best AC interior, premium sundeck, fully stocked bar setup option, and the boat that looks the most photogenic on Instagram. Worth it if you’re shooting a music video, throwing a milestone birthday, or hosting a corporate retreat.
Tips before you book
- Always check whether the price quoted is per yacht or per person. Big difference.
- Standard charters are 2 hours — you can extend by the hour if you want a longer trip.
- Ask about what’s not included: catering, alcohol, decor, photographer are usually extra.
- If you’re a group of 10+, ask for a group rate — most operators (us included) discount.
